My Story

Born and raised in Brooklyn to Cuban-American parents, I grew up running through the Park Slope stoops and refining my bagel palette. At age 17, I moved north to Boston to study International Relations at Tufts University. After working with the Pulitzer Prize-winning team of VII Photo, I found myself working as a freelance photojournalist based in Rome, Italy. I traveled the world on countless adventures including covering the opening of Burma for The New York Times, access to palliative care and pain relief in Nairobi, and modern day hunger for the United Nations.

What I'm All About

My experience in photojournalism inspired me to begin documenting my personal life and travels with the camera. Over time, I've explored many mediums of photography and storytelling. I am so excited to bring my eye and experience to my business Wilde Scout Photo Co. to capture the most precious moments of life for you. Currently reside in New York City and armed with a keen eye for those real moments that matter, I would be honored to work with you to capture your wedding day and your story.
